The incredibly difficult course of history...

 
Reading and browsing the internet, I see how much seething anger and animal hatred there is among those who stand firm for capitalism, which is disappearing under the iron will of historical development. For these champions of private property are ready to drown in blood anyone who seeks normal justice for all the peoples of the world.

 And then I think how incredibly difficult it is for humanity to achieve a more or less normal society, free of wars and destruction, and only when capitalism itself reaches its limits will the peoples of the world be able to take power into their own hands. But how many things must coincide in the historical development of human society for this qualitative leap into the future to occur...

The deepest anxiety in my soul is that capital, perishing, could drag humanity into a nuclear inferno in which no one will survive, no one...

Corporations (big capital), you could say, would start an imperialist war among themselves, and they already have, and no one can give a 100% guarantee that this war won't slide into the abyss of a global nuclear apocalypse...

What a shame that history, given its exceptional objectivity, cannot follow a more careful, reasonable, and therefore peaceful path. What a shame... the struggle between the new and the old always takes place on the brink of terrible events.  tragedies... the old one, with all its might, resists and will not give up its own without great bloodshed and enormous destruction...
