The Mudra of Transparency Gate 59 of Sexuality

How to Practise:

Position your hands in front of the lower abdomen, in the area of the Sacral Centre. This mudra is best practised while sitting, with the hands resting on the upper surface of the thighs.
Turn the palms towards each other.
Gently curl the fingers of each hand inward, forming two cup-like shapes, each preserving its own distinct form.
Extend the thumbs towards each other and bring their pads into contact.
Allow the remaining fingers to find the available points of contact at the centre, without squeezing or attempting to press the hands more tightly together.
Feel the boundary of each palm and the space arising between them.
Do not increase the pressure. Let the fingers touch only firmly enough for the contact to remain effortless.
Breathe calmly. As you inhale, notice the separateness of the two hands.
As you exhale, sense the possibility of warmth and attention moving through their points of contact.

When to Use:
- When you long for intimacy but the body closes or becomes tense.
- When it is difficult to distinguish genuine attraction from the desire to merge, hold on to another person, or penetrate their boundaries.
- Before an important conversation, touch, shared action, or entry into a new relationship.
- When sexual energy accumulates within but cannot find a safe passage.
- When contact has already arisen and your own boundaries begin to disappear.
- When individual consciousness tries to contain what is happening through the mind alone and does not allow access to a deeper level of perception.

How It Helps:
- It helps distinguish intimacy from fusion.
- It restores the sense of your own form while allowing you to remain in contact.
- It calibrates the boundary toward selective permeability: opening only as much as is possible now without losing integrity.
- It allows you to notice whether there is mutual movement toward connection or whether the contact is being sustained through the effort of only one side.
- It connects Sacral life force with inner consent and helps reveal a passage through which energy can be given and received.

Signs of Calibration:
- The pressure between the thumbs becomes equal and no longer requires control.
- The hands and forearms relax, and the shoulders drop.
- The breath moves more freely into the lower abdomen.
- Warmth, a gentle pulse, or the sensation of slowly filling with warm honey may arise in the Sacral Centre.
- The space between the hands no longer feels empty but becomes a living field of connection.
- The presence of another ceases to feel like an intrusion, while your own boundary ceases to feel like a wall.
- The body feels both separate and available for contact.

What Happens to the Energy:
Sacral energy ceases either to remain locked within an individual form or to spill uncontrollably into another person.
The two palms retain their structure, while their points of contact create a conducting channel between them.
Through this channel, life force enters into exchange without destroying either side.
Hermetic isolation dissolves. The boundary becomes selectively permeable.
The reflected Light of lived experience is given the possibility of meeting direct Light, while individual consciousness enters into connection with the level of superconsciousness.
In this way, the mudra builds a bridge across the great river: the form remains whole, yet Light can now pass through it.

The Formula of the Mudra:
I allow the boundary to become permeable to exactly the degree that enables Life to enter into connection while preserving the integrity of both forms.
