5 Line Awakening of Life 59 Gate of Sexuality
Here, the line answers the question: “How does the awakening of Life in one become available to many?”
MORNING TUNING-FORK CALIBRATION
Canon: “In Dispersion, sweat pours from his loud cries. In Dispersion, live like a king. No blame.”
“In Dispersion, sweat pours from his loud cries.” “Sweat” is profoundly physical.
This is no longer a thought or an intention. The body is mobilized to such a degree that its work becomes visible on the skin.
And “loud cries” provide an almost opposite channel: a voice, a call, a proclamation that travels outward and reaches many.
A strange conjunction appears: the body works to the point of sweating — the voice grows loud.
And then, suddenly, the king appears — someone whose actions, by their very nature, have a collective radius.
What a private person does affects their immediate surroundings.
What a king does changes the conditions in which many people live.
The two parts then begin to connect: something that was previously divided among separate individuals becomes a shared matter.
And “live like a king” may not mean “rise above everyone else” at all. It may mean: take such a position within Dispersion that your life force is capable of serving more than personal intimacy alone.
When life force fully awakens in one body, its presence ceases to be merely a personal experience.
This is a profound shift. In the first four lines, we were continually dealing with the crossing of the boundary between me and another.
The fifth line suddenly expands the scale: between me and many.
Breathing becomes freer, the body comes alive, and pleasure arises in moving, feeling, sounding, and entering into contact with the world.
This is where the “loud cries” find their biological place.
Perhaps this is the mechanism of the fifth line: awakened life force becomes a signal available to many.
My state extends beyond direct interaction and becomes available to others.
There is no need to deliberately influence them, involve them, or try to evoke the same state within them.
It is enough to live from the fullness of one’s own life force.
The fifth line reveals personal responsibility for the collective quality of what a person emanates. What matters is not only what a person does, but the state from which the action arises.
Image of the Line — a rooster crowing at dawn.
The rooster awakens with the arrival of morning, and the change in his own state becomes a loud signal for the entire surrounding area.
He does not go from one sleeper to another trying to wake everyone up. His crow is the natural expression of a body that is already awake.
One awakened body can awaken others.
Tonality — the joy of awakening:
Life force does not need to prove its value through the effect it produces.
It experiences the pleasure of its own presence and allows that state to spread freely around it.
Where in the Body:
I notice my breath, chest, throat, and voice.
Do I feel the desire to breathe more deeply, open up, stretch, move, make sound?
Can I feel the pleasure of simply being present in my body?
Octave of Expression:
Shadow — Dishonesty
A person tries to emanate a state that is not actually present in their body and looks to the reactions of others for confirmation of their own aliveness.
The less inner life force there is, the stronger the need to excite, inspire, attract, or compel others to respond.
The loudness of the signal begins to substitute for its authenticity.
Gift — Intimacy
A person allows their own life force to express itself exactly as it is, without trying to evoke a particular state in others.
Joy, pleasure, and aliveness become available to those around them without deliberate influence.
Intimacy arises when another body is free to come into contact with what a person is genuinely living.
Siddhi — Transparency
The one who believed the life force belonged to them and tried to transmit it to others disappears.
The body becomes transparent to Life, which moves freely through it.
There is no one who awakens and no one who needs to be awakened.
Through one living body, Life recognizes and awakens itself in others.
Social Role — Commander.
The Commander is responsible not for the state of those around them, but for the quality of the signal arising from their own state.
They do not lead others toward Life.
They live.
Distinction of the Line:
59.1 — where my own capacities end and help enters.
59.2 — where the body naturally moves toward.
59.3 — what arises when another crosses the boundary of my separateness.
59.4 — dissolves intimacy’s dependence on belonging to the circle of “our own.”
59.5 — reveals that once this boundary disappears, the state of one body can spread far beyond direct contact.
Not mass influence, but the contagiousness of the fullness of Life.
Somatic Button — “What am I emanating?”
When I feel the fullness of Life arising within me, I notice my own state and look around.
How am I breathing right now?
Where in my body is the pleasure of being alive?
Does my body want to move, make sound, enter into contact?
I allow my body to reveal the quality of the signal already emanating from me.
When I notice dull eyes and contracted bodies around me, I continue observing my own state without trying to make everyone happy.
I do not dim my aliveness in order to match those around me, nor do I amplify it in order to change them.
I remain in the fullness of Life that genuinely exists within me now.
The rooster does not need to crow louder because the village has not awakened,
nor does he need to go back to sleep in solidarity with the village.
Morning has arrived in him. That is enough.
Energy of the Line:
Life force reaches such fullness within an individual body that it can no longer be contained by its boundaries and radiates outward as a signal of awakening.
In the previous lines, energy crossed a boundary: it found support, moved toward another, allowed another to enter, and moved beyond the circle of “our own.”
In the fifth line, it no longer needs to move toward anything.
It fills the body so completely that it becomes an emanation.
But when it encounters “dull eyes and contracted bodies,” energy may begin to spend itself on influence — shaking people awake, persuading, seducing, inspiring.
Then fullness turns into effort and gradually becomes depleted.
Or it may dim itself so as not to stand out too much from the surrounding field.
The correctness of the fifth line is a third possibility: neither amplify nor diminish the signal. Allow life force to have its natural intensity.
And then the most beautiful thing happens: energy is not spent awakening others — it remains Life, whose very presence has a collective radius.
Reference Points:
- Awakening of the body.
- Joy without the need for a reason.
- Voice as a natural continuation of the state.
- Spreading without deliberate influence.
- Personal responsibility for the quality of the state being emanated.
Phrase of the Line:
The joy of my awakening and my pleasure in being alive are enough for Life to awaken around me.
Formula of the Gate:
When Life moves freely across the boundaries of an individual body, its fullness becomes available to others.
