How love for God arises

There is a statement in some believers: "Love begins with love for God, not with love for people, and then to God." Let's talk about it!
“God is love, and he who abides in love is in God, and God is in him.” 1In, 4-16

The Bible states that love is the divine state of man, the presence of God by his Spirit in us, the presence in man of the Holy Spirit. “The love of God has poured into our hearts by our Holy Spirit, given to us” (1 John. 5:5). God has no beginning and no end, neither is love infinite and has never had a beginning and will never have an end. There is no love without God. The love that a person finds in himself is born together with God as a gift from God, that is, man receives in himself what existed before his birth in the eternity of everything.
The birth of love in a person begins in the process of living together with people, when a person begins to show sympathy for people in various life situations, when these people are not indifferent in the life of the person himself by spiritual correspondence of us, and we have a need to associate with them all their lives.

The love of children for the mother and father in most cases arises before the concept of the word God. A child can love his parents, from childhood and all his life, but can only need them for his own purposes. And then he will not have love. God does not give love to every child (Spirit of the Holy Spirit). This requires certain conditions. If God sees that the child says to his mother, knowing that some food is delicious in the family: "Mother, why do you give delicious only to me, and you do not eat? Eat and you must, otherwise I will not eat! " Such a child God sees and gives him His love. God does not give love to selfish people who “tug on himself”, but gives everyone who does good and other things that please God, in the school of life on earth, although children or adults may be unbelievers!

God loves all people, God first loved all people, even before their creation, including Cain, but not all people give love, which is the Holy Spirit. God does not give love to be loved. If that were the case, God would give all people love for themselves, like a hypnotist, making all humans robots. Love for God is a consequence of the presence of love in man, which is born in him from God only according to his actions in life to God.

People who have love for other people, sooner or later for them, become believers who love God. But otherwise it simply cannot be, because God is in them. God gives those who need Him, who tries to find the truth, the meaning of life, who seek to do according to their conscience in their lives, who try to help people in need of something, who have experienced a lot of grief, a lot of suffering in their lives, who have understood how the injustice of this world, built by people who seek glory and wealth, offend people. The motive of receiving love from God: compassion for people, experience with them their joy and grief, receiving joy when you can help them ("she fell in love with me for my wounds, and I love her for her compassion for them"-Shakespeare, Othello).

Usually this feeling of empathy occurs in people who have experienced grief and know what it is. Without love for God it is impossible to become with God, and therefore before the love of God, a person must find in himself the love of people! “Who says, ‘I love God,’ and his brother hates his brother, ‘For he is not his brother who he loves, who he sees, how can he love God whom he does not see?’ (1 John 4:20). “No one has ever seen God. If we love each other, God abides in us, and His love is perfect in us” (John 4:12).

Love for people arises in every person toGETHER with God, but in this joint person must take the first step! This is what Christ said well in the Proverb of the prodigal son, who should take the first step, of course, who needs God, who understood that he lives wrong. God wants love in man (Holy Spirit) to be born together with man. It is similar to the emerging love of another person. What kind of human spirit should a person have in himself to receive love from God? (The Spirit of God) As I have written above, a person should have:

1) the desire to do good to people. God gives the Holy Spirit a love to man, but 2) when he refuses his selfishness and pride. Pride is born of selfishness. 3) If a person cannot compassionate people in their suffering, then he will never have compassion for God on the Calvary Cross! 4) God gives those who need Him, who try to find the truth, the meaning of life, who seek to do according to their conscience in their lives, who try to help people in need of something, who have experienced a lot of grief, a lot of suffering in their lives, who have understood how the injustice of this world, built by people who seek glory and wealth, offends people.
