Experts warn that AI could destroy humanity before the end of this decade unless radical preventive measures are taken.
Crucially, this might not happen because of the creation of a program specifically designed to be dangerous to humanity.
Even today, in areas such as transport management, aviation, missile technology, and certain fields of medicine, robots and AI are dozens of times more efficient and safer than humans.
Robots could simply sideline humans from active roles in key production sectors, viewing us as inefficient and self-destructive elements of life.
In other words, robots and AI might "shut us out" for the sake of our own safety.
