On Gennady Zherebilov Concept - The Homodicy

On Gennady Zherebilov’s Concept: "The Justification of a Human — Homodicea"

If at the dawn of humanity, by the standards of the animal world, man looked like a degenerate creature—flawed and doomed to extinction in the struggle between species—then today, to avoid triggering a self-fulfilling prophecy about the inevitable decline of mankind, we must not become hostages to the wrong views of the coming Era of Robotics and AI. These views treat man as a half-finished robot doomed to vanish unless stuffed with microchips, under the assumption that a natural human cannot possibly compete with robotics and artificial intelligence.

In light of this, it becomes vital to shape and spread a new view of human essence—a new worldview that combines the ideals of world religions with a modern scientific picture of the world. This will serve as the foundation for the harmonious development of the individual, the global community, and the planet as we transition from the world as we know it to the world of our dreams. To reach a qualitatively new level of human development, we must cultivate "wise love."

Zherebilov’s concept of "Homodicea — The Justification of a Human" developes Pitirim Sorokin’s legacy, which placed the principle of love at the center of all interpersonal, economic, and political relations. While Zherebilov's 1995 monograph identified alienation of consciousness as the trait of modern man, he now proposes that the defining trait of a perfected human must be a loving, free consciousness necessary for civilization of the Earth to go up to the new high quality level.
