Рецензия на «Vacation Revelations» (Дина Беляева)
It’s again (and sadly inevitable) the never changing situation…. Formulated so succinctly in a verbal joke about a Native and his wife in a boat….
When asked, why his wife is doing all the paddling… and he’s just sitting there, smoking a pipe… he calmly responded:
“Well, it’s easy for her!
All that’s she’s got to care about is paddle-and-paddle….
But for me it’s different. I have to THINK how to live on!”
Fortunately, there is some other kinds of jorneying.
This summer, I travelled solo. By train. In a boat down the river. Walking. Living in a tent.
(Some of the pictures I’ve brought home with me I have placed with my texts…)
It feels good to have someone again to converse in that tongue…

Vacation is something which appeals to everybody. I like your story about vacation. Very many people prefer beach. It is so popular nowadays.

Thanks for your response. Yet, this isn't a story, just a few aphorisms. Unfortunately not everyone likes a beach vacation... this was the reason for my bitching.

I just came back...
We tried to combine 3 types of vacation into one week ( active / roller coasters / beach) and all I remember is too much packing and unpacking.

Sounds like Florida vacation :). I just came from my vacation too. So, besides all the “donations” to my relatives I, of course, took more clothing with me that I actually used. Just hate it!:)
