It’s again (and sadly inevitable) the never changing situation…. Formulated so succinctly in a verbal joke about a Native and his wife in a boat…. When asked, why his wife is doing all the paddling… and he’s just sitting there, smoking a pipe… he calmly responded: “Well, it’s easy for her! All that’s she’s got to care about is paddle-and-paddle…. But for me it’s different. I have to THINK how to live on!” Fortunately, there is some other kinds of jorneying. This summer, I travelled solo. By train. In a boat down the river. Walking. Living in a tent.
