Бывает иногда, что вы - друзья, и вот - 
Вы не друзья уже,
И дружба завершилась -
Дни целые растрачены напрасно, а в теченье их 
Сам по себе источник истощился. 

Бывает иногда, что ты любим, и вот
Ты не любим уже,
Любовь прошла.
И дни растрачены напрасно, и
Иссяк источник, высох.

Бывает иногда, что с ней хотел бы говорить, но, - на тебе, -
Ты говорить уже не хочешь.
Момент упущен.
Желанья вспыхнули и вдруг исчезли.

И так бывает иногда: вот, - некуда пойти,  и вдруг
Нашлось то место -
Оно возможностью открылось;
И годы, как в горячке, пролетели -
Быстрей минуты.   

В итоге – ничего.
Ты думаешь, имеют ли значение такие вещи,  и
Как только начинаешь ты об этом думать,
Они значение теряют.
И безразлично всё становится тебе -
В траву источник вытек.

Sometimes It Happens

And sometimes it happens that you are friends and then
You are not friends,
And friendship has passed.
And whole days are lost and among them
A fountain empties itself.

And sometimes it happens that you are loved and then
You are not loved,
And love is past.

A fountain empties itself into the grass.

And sometimes you want to speak to her and then
You do not want to speak,

Your dreams flare up, they suddenly vanish.
