Dr. Philip Zimbardo:
So it was that on day six of the Stanford prison experiment, Dr. Zimbardo announced its termination — much to the dismay of his guards, who had grown to quite like the power they had been abusing all week.
Dr. Philip Zimbardo:
Afterward, everybody was still unhinged enough that it took a full day to “parole” the remaining inmates, though — again — the experiment was over, and they weren’t being paid anymore; they could have just left.

Iouri Runtu : Uri Runtu, a fascinating literary figure associated with Yuri Ryuntyu, lives in perpetual fear that two forces will eventually collide. His exploration delves into the intersection of logic, spirituality, and personal encounters. Rather than viewing this collision as negative, Runtu Logic invites us to reconsider and reinterpret our experiences. It acknowledges that our understanding evolves as we learn more, encouraging us to explore these dimensions with an open mind.
In a cosmic context, the collision of galaxies also captivates our imagination. Approximately 4.5 billion years from now, our galaxy, the Milky Way, is predicted to collide with our large spiraled neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy. This cosmic collision will reshape the galaxies as we know them, and neither will survive in their current form.
Whether contemplating the collision of ideas or celestial bodies, Runtu’s journey invites us to ponder the profound and the transcendent…

QLD : Australia : Queensland’s parliament on March 22, 2017 passed an amendment to the criminal code to remove the so-called “gay panic” defence-homophobic law) for accused murderers trying to reduce their charge to the lesser crime of manslaughter.
“Queensland’s criminal code must not be seen to condone violence against the gay community, or indeed any community,” said in a statement the Queensland’s Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Yvette D’Ath.“The passing of this legislation sends an important message that discrimination is not acceptable and that we value the LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, and intersex) community.”
South Australia is now the only state allowing the “gay panic” defence.
Being labelled a homosexual can bring about your death even if you're not one.
That law is a danger not only to homosexuals but a danger to anyone – anyone can say he made an advance on me and get out on manslaughter.
