Karpukhin Fedor - was born March 14, 1920 in the village Kratovo, Pokrovsky district, Oryol region.

Fedor Fedorovich worked as a Turner and fitter at the enterprises of the Orel region.

He raised three children. Lives in Mtsensk district.

Folk art practiced since childhood. With 12 years of guitar, balalaika, mandolin. In the mid 50-ies interested in the production of wood layouts Orthodox churches.

They made a considerable collection of reliefs, wooden sculptures telling about the past of peasant life, the simple country life.
